This is a comfortable and private 1 bedroom suite near the heart of downtown Comox. The space has a comfortable open design with separate 1 bedroom. There is a fully stocked kitchen with a large island that is fully equipped with everything you could need. Large and bright 720 sq ft space. Has locally made wood floors, a private entrance, onsite parking, gardens, flat screen TV, wifi, electric fireplace and a luxurious Queen size bed! There is also a custom made pull out sofa that sleeps two in the living room. This is a very convenient and cosy home away from home. Located 5 minutes from the Comox Airport(YQQ), a 15 minute walk to the sweeping beaches and fire pits at Goose Spit Park, a 45 minute drive to the slopes of Mount Washington and world class Mountain Biking in Cumberland is 20 minutes away. Float planes are available from Comox Harbour with direct flights to downtown Vancouver. For vacationing, purchasing a new home, or visiting family this is a great getaway and a great way to experience the amazing Comox Peninsula. Short Term rentals available. $25 extra/night per person. Summary: Our 4th stay at Melanie & Colin's great vacay rental. We are looking forward to a 5th stay in 2025. The unit is large & comfortable providing everything you need. My favorite spot is the suites' private deck & yard. Melanie & Colin are the best hosts. It has been a pleasure staying at their property for our annual trip to the Comox Valley. Summary: What a treat! Mel greeted us with homemade banana bread and cold drinks on our arrival. The property is a delightful, peace filled space. Wonderful deck to sit and enjoy the birds and flowers. The unit was lovely, comfy bed and well stocked kitchen for any cooks dream. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to stay here again and again! Thank you M &C

Summary: Melanie and Colin have a beautiful home tucked away in a remote area of Comox, close to the water but within close driving distance to many amenities. The kitchen is well equipped to make all your meals, if you wish with ample space to relax I. The living room or enjoy coffee on the deck by the garden. I stayed here with my 2 kids (18 and 16) and our dog and we had plenty of space. I would highly recommend this place and hope to be back again.

Summary: Good hosts. Very responsive. Nice property - spacious, with lovely garden. Contained everything we needed. No complaints or issues. Very sensitive fire/smoke alarm. Went off twice when we opened oven even though nothing was burning and no smoke. This is a good thing for safety but just an observation. Another very tiny observation is that the cover photo for this listing should likely not show the ocean view as there is not one but we were super content sitting out in the garden area having coffee in the mornings. Overall an easy 5 star.

Summary: We stayed for 6 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts were really accommodating and friendly, with great recommendations for local places to visit. The home was warm, yet spacious for a summer rental, and the kitchen was very well equipped for any needs. The attached gardens were wonderful, in full bloom, and the guests had access to them; the hosts even let my child pick some berries from the garden. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and would return here for a future stay.

Summary: My partner and I needed to relax and recharge and this was the perfect place. We spent most of each day sitting by the garden reading and taking in the lovely birds and beautiful setting. The area is great with the beach a couple blocks away and Comox village a few minutes drive.
